Co-Presidents' Message

Good afternoon, Mt. Bethel families!

Hard to believe we are only one week into March, but we still have so much happening from now until the end of the year.  There is A LOT of new info in this edition of the eBlast, so please read on to learn more and see what else is coming up at Mount Bethel Elementary.

Due to the weather, we have postponed our Campus Cleanup to April 19th, at 2pm. Please check out our social pages for updated signage and a new Signup Genius link. Thank you to all of the families who had previously signed up to beautify the campus today — we really appreciate your willingness to take time out of your weekend to support the school.

Tomorrow begins Healthy Habits Week at Mt Bethel, which also means it's almost time for the MBES PE Night and PTA General Meeting.  Please join us this Thursday, March 12th from 6-7 pm in the MBES Gym.  Come to vote for the new slate of PTA Officers for 2026-2027 and stay to participate in field day games to get the whole family out and active with Coach Troskie and Coach Lotz.

We're excited for the 40th Annual MBES Fun Run & 5K taking place THIS Saturday, March 14th.  Race day registration opens at 7 AM.  Seeing you there will be as sweet as pi!

Teacher Appreciation Week is the March 23rd – 27th, and we know our teachers are all as sweet as a Georgia peach!  PTA has a fun week of events planned to celebrate our fabulous faculty, but we need some help to make sure it’s a success.  Please see the links below in the newsletter to sign-up.

Have a great week!

~ Amy Stewart & Sarah Downer

“Drop anchor, mateys! Healthy Habits Week is here!"

Your Buccaneer will receive a take-home activity sheet tomorrow (Monday, March 9) to bring back to school next Monday (March 16). Help your student complete the daily challenges and learn about these five healthy habits. On Friday, we will celebrate the end of the week with a dress up day! Wear your favorite team jersey to school!

Monday - We’re minding our greatest treasures — our hearts and minds. Being kind, thankful, and positive helps us feel good and makes our school a happier place.

Tuesday - Set Sail to Dreamland: Even buccaneers need rest to sail strong! Sleep helps our bodies grow, our brains remember what we learn, and our moods stay positive.

Wednesday - We’re fueling our ships with healthy foods! Fruits and vegetables give our bodies the vitamins and energy we need to learn, play, and grow strong.

Thursday - We’re hydrating our crew! Water helps our bodies stay cool, keeps our brains focused, and gives us energy to learn and play.

Friday - We’re moving like buccaneers! Our bodies are built to move, and exercise helps our hearts, muscles, and brains stay strong.
