Co-Presidents' Message

Good afternoon, Mt. Bethel families!

šŸ‘Ÿ Thank you to everyone who joined us for Saturday morning's amazing Fun Run & 5K! Great weather. Plenty of smiles. And loads of pies. We had a record 545 registrants (!) and are already working on ideas for the theme for next year. Students who won their age divisions will pie the principals tomorrow morning!

šŸŽ We hope your children loved sharing new Healthy Habits with you that they learned this past week. Please help them to remember to return the Healthy Habits Take-Home Challenge Sheet they received at the start of the week back to school with them tomorrow morning. Those who return a completed handout will be entered into a drawing to be an assistant PE coach for their class. In case you can't find the handout, you can print one out HERE. Ā

šŸ’ We've added some more details below in ways you and your child(ren) can participate in making the upcoming Teacher Appreciation Week truly terrific for our amazing faculty and staff, so please take a look!Ā

šŸ‘šŸ¼ And lastly, a very big Thank You to our new executive board that was elected this past Thursday to serve the 2026/2027 school year: Sarah Downer, Melissa Woodson, Emily Kemp, Whitney Fain, Katie Clifford, Jill Altschull and Jason Maderer.Ā

Have a great week!

~ Amy Stewart & Sarah Downer

Thank you to Erin B., Kristin B., Crystal K., Megan S., and Caroline W. for your patience and organizing expertise in getting Art Show submissions for EVERY student in the school alphabetized and ready for shipment! Your help is so appreciated!

A huge thank you to Coach Lotz, Coach TroskieĀ and Coach Wis for keeping us anchored in Healthy Habits this past week and for going above and beyond creating fun experiences for our Mt. Bethel families after our General Meeting and all year long in PE! We appreciate all of your time, effort, and creativity!

🄧🄧🄧🄧🄧🄧🄧🄧🄧🄧

Buccaneer Bravos to our awesome Fun Run Committee Chairs, Jason M. and Cody R.! They worked tirelessly managing all of the moving parts it takes to plan and execute such a successful Fun Run and brought so much creativity and joy to the event with their festive 3.14 ā€œPie Theme.ā€

We are also so grateful for our incredible committee members who helped make the event happen:Ā Whitney F. for collecting and delivering all of our donations and recruiting our high school volunteers;Ā Jocelyn S. for keeping the Princeton Lakes neighborhood informed and serving as our point person at the registration table on race day; andĀ Brooke C. for bringing the dĆ©cor and flair—the headbands were a huge hit!

Last, but certainly not least, a very heartfelt thank you to Katie F. for the many years she has single-handedly chaired this event and for coaching our new team every step of the way. Katie has been an incredible asset to the MBES PTA and will be greatly missed next year as her family’s time at MBES comes to a close.
