Good afternoon, Mt. Bethel families!

🌟 Thank you very much to the families that showed up and helped spruce up the school grounds at Campus Clean-up this afternoon!

🌟 It was great to see so many of you at the Spring Thing & Art Show on Thursday. We hope you had a terrific night, and we appreciate you supporting the Mt Bethel Art Department by purchasing your child's framed art.  Please use the following link for digital copies of the photo booth photos.

🌟 Mt Bethel PTA is honored to announce Kara Searcy as our 2025-2026 Phoebe Hearst Award recipient. We were so excited to surprise Mrs. Searcy with the award (along with her sweet 2nd grade class) during our board meeting on Tuesday. Nominations for this year’s award came from the Mt. Bethel community, and we happily share an excerpt from Mrs. Searcy’s nomination with you below!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead,

~ Amy Stewart & Sarah Downer

Nominations for this year’s award came from the Mt. Bethel community, and we are happy to share the excerpt from Mrs. Searcy’s nomination with you as it definitely articulates what an incredible educator she truly is!

“Mrs. Searcy truly exemplifies the PTA mission through her outstanding communication and unwavering commitment to inclusion. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every parent feels informed, welcomed, and empowered to support the school community. Her proactive outreach, openness to collaboration, and thoughtful engagement create a strong partnership between families and the school. Because of her efforts, parents feel confident, connected, and inspired to be active participants in their children’s education.”

🌟 Congratulations, Mrs. Searcy; you make Mt. Bethel so special! 🌟

Lunchroom Helpers Needed this April & May

MBES has a real need for lunch helpers for the rest of this school year, and especially tomorrow, Monday, April 20th.

Whether you are available and willing to help with a shift on just one day or on many days, the school would love to have you and would be so grateful.

Please see the sign-up genius HERE.

Thank you so much for your continued support and generosity with your time! (Plus, your students love to see you!)

HUGE shoutout to Michal B, who year after year puts together a flawless Spring Thing on the blacktop!  A big thank you to Sarah B for jumping in to support all the day-of logistics and setup; everything ran smoothly because of you.  Our students and families love this event, and it’s all thanks to these two amazing volunteers!
